Reason #31: Prams! On a related note, babies/toddlers ride in style in Denmark! Prams are these huge strollers, which are basically like palaces on wheels! Sturdy (and during the winter months packed with mini-down blankets), prams have everything that a small child could possibly need to survive in the wild (or the streets of CPH)! For families with multiple little ones, they have SUV-sized prams available. :-)

Reasons I Elsker DK #30-34
Reason #30: Family outings! I've been waiting for a good enough photo to share this reason because it really is one of the things that I love most about Denmark. In Copenhagen, I see more babies out in strollers (called "prams") with families in one day than I see in a month in DC. That is not an exaggeration. Parents and babies are ALWAYS out walking and it makes me happy every single time I see it (so, pretty much all the time). I never realized how absent babies, toddlers, and strollers are from US streets until I got to Denmark. If I didn't feel so creepy taking pictures of families, I would have hundreds upon hundreds of these photos to choose from, but for now I am satisfied with these three.
Reason #32: Louisiana Museum of Modern Art! After my recent trip with the Hellesens to the Louisiana, I can certainly add it to my list of the reasons I elsker DK! Filled with interactive exhibits and in a stunning location, it was not only one of my favorite art museums in Denmark, but is also one of my favorite art museums ever.
Reason #33: Restaurants' outdoor seating (even in winter)! Okay, in all honesty, not all places have outdoor seating during winter. BUT almost all places have outdoor seating during the transitional phase between winter and spring (which this year, is stretching on and on). With small fleece blankets on each seat, you can stay warm while enjoying fresh air and if you're lucky sunshine!
Reason #34: The Danish coastline! Denmark is not the most beautiful country geographically (which is partly because it is tiny and doesn't have much of a chance to be very diverse). However, the coast is gorgeous and therefore earns spot #34.
