Reason #13: Bikes! I've been waiting for a good photograph to represent this reason that I love Denmark, and have now accumulated several that I think will get the point across. Given how important biking is to people in Copenhagen, reason I love Denmark #13 (bikes) gets its very own post!

| This type of bike (or similar ones with an open cart in the front) are very common. They are perfect for transporting children, pets, groceries, christmas trees, and more! |

| Bikes ready for pickup! Evan, Ilana and I went by a school just before pickup. Of those there to collect their children, 6 were picking up by bike and only 1 was picking up by car! |

| No child is too small (or large) to travel in a bike-seat |

| And when you don't have a special seat, children can balance very nicely in the front of the bike |

| Or how about TWO children in the back? |

| But if that is uncomfortable, try putting one child in back and one child in front! |
