Min Tidsplan (My Schedule)

Good news! I got into a Danish Language class! It will be my second of three classes on Tuesdays and Fridays (tomorrow is the first day). Above is my schedule, which is mostly correct... for some reason my Service learning class is listed as taking place on Mondays, but that really isn't true! It met today and...
I GOT THE PLACEMENT THAT I WANTED! I am going to be working at a center for refugees with mental illness. I have absolutely no idea what to expect at the site, but regardless the class seems great. There are 10 of us enrolled and each week we meet to discuss our work at various programs/sites around Copenhagen and also to talk about things like culture, values, identity, etc. We will be going on two field study days where we visit different community service programs in and around the area. We had some interesting conversations today, so I am really looking forward to it. I have to email my new volunteer supervisor to set up a meeting for early next week. I will definitely keep you posted.

Now I have to take a crack at some homework for tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able to post something a little later tonight (I have some really fun photos from today AND still have to finish my post about the amazing race).
